of pinks and browns

the theme of our solemnisation is officially confirmed - pink & brown!

slight changes though. dar's ted baker shirt had to be scraped cos it totally clashed with the deco and my dress colour. his colours are so fierce. striking purple, green and brown. nah... so we have to go scouting for another shirt pronto.

leaving for taiwan in 4 days. hope we are able to find some stuff for the solemnisation there. my heels, or his shirt. or maybe some nice deco stuff for the venue.

something i need desperately and is super tough to find: a nice feather pen for the official signing!

ps. we've filed our marriage on ROM!

olive suite

the dress is officially in the making! *excited*

headed down to olive suite to take a look after work yesterday. met jessica, who is totally sweet! she helped me pick out a few of their OTR designs to try and get a rough idea what kinda dress am i really looking for.

initially i wanted to get a customised MTM dress with lovely lace and handmade flower details on the top of the bustier. apparently that will cost at least $1300. i nearly fainted with the tight dress i had on and the aftershock when the price was revealed to me.

so i decided to get an OTR design and do a little changes and personalised details here and there.

3 weeks before i get to see the rough outlook of the dress which is an empire cut dress, in champange rose duchess satin and offwhite overlay tulle.sounds yummy? :)

i totally cant wait to lay my eyes on it!
